The High Plains Priestess is an enormous creature, a member of a race of dragon-like beings. These creatures awake for one season every decade to seek out a mate. While she sleeps the local people endow her with enormous precious stones and ornate carvings, hoping that when she awakes she will find favor with them and bring them prosperity.

This is very very beautiful ♥ I love the intrinsic patterns throughout the body, and the jewels embedded gives it a very mystical touch. And I just love how the Priestess blends in with the environment, it's really pleasing to the eye! A wonderful art! ♥
